Team Lead (2nd Shift)
About the role
The Team Lead position is available at Peter Millar, an American lifestyle brand founded in 2001. The role is based in Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina, and involves managing a work area in a distribution center. The Team Lead is responsible for developing daily plans and assignments for their team, motivating associates, reporting and escalating issues, collaborating interdepartmentally, training associates, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting business operations.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Safety, Quality, and Operational goals, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area that aids in efficient and productive experiences.
- Prioritize work as assigned and manage the flow of day-to-day operations, including the development of timelines and strategies for the team.
- Communicate tasks, deliver training, and utilize resources to keep projects on track and ensure DC success.
- Create and distribute documentation, generate reports, and keep team members informed.
- Monitor and review productivity metrics for individuals and teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

- At least one year of experience performing functions in WMS.
- Minimum of two years of team leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment preferred.
