Team Lead - 1st Shift - $27.00/hr

Schedule

Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm, OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production work orders specific to their product line and/or work cell assignment.
• Responsible for knowing, following, and not deviating from the appropriate procedures assigned to their product line and/or work cell.
• Must have ability to show proficiency in their assigned area by having approved competencies.
• Must also have the ability to work in a team environment and have attention to detail.
• In addition, promotes a continuous improvement culture through a team focus on safety, product quality, employee engagement and productivity in order to deliver the highest quality product to customers.
• Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions; works on production line duties for majority of scheduled shift.
• Manages time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of independent decision making.
• Displays versatility and flexibility on a regular basis within department.

• Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns.

• Leads small production team within one manufacturing line in relation to cell needs at the production level.
• Resolves technical and/or resource issues on the line in regard to equipment, process and people as much as possible.
• Partners with supervisor to ensure all team members are adequately trained and maintain completed competencies and ensure all employees are following standardized work and completing quality records accurately.

Qualifications

Required: High School or GED; 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.

Preferred: Prior leadership experience; computer systems experience; experience with manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems.

Pay

$27.00/hr plus bonus eligible + benefits
