Responsibilities
- Reduces production bottle necks on manufacturing product line.
- Adds to the resolution of workflow issues.
- Learns all positions and fills in as needed.
- Identifies part and resource shortages and provides solutions.
- Communicates above situations to Supervisors, Engineers and Managers as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or GED and minimal WorkKeys scores for the position.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous lead position experience.
Physical & Environmental Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Able to lift between 50 and 100 pounds assisted.
- Able to learn to work with all hand tools required of all positions within the area, including general work tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, brazing and wiring tools and equipment, forklifts, etc.
- Able to effectively direct the flow of others.
- Able to foster teamwork and resolve conflict.
- Able to work long hours and a variety of shifts as needed.
- Able to learn and utilize materials tracking system.
Environmental Demands
- Ability to work in an environment with temperatures occasionally above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees.
- Time Travel Required 10%.
