About the role

Togetherhood is coming to Boston, and we're looking for amazing instructors who are seeking flexible, good-paying, supplemental work, and are excited about having the freedom to use their own lesson plans and curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
• Create memorable experiences for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for your performing art
• Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!) prepared with the lesson plan for the day
• Help children understand why your performing art is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person

Requirements

• A dynamic instructor who loves what they teach and why they teach it
• Has excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
• Knows how to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Bridges the gap between personal development and education
• Brings your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
• Is cooperative, supportive, flexible, and dependable
• Thrives when given autonomy and appreciates support and clear expectations

Qualifications

• Experience teaching school age children
• Relevant teaching experience or other relevant experience/training

Skills

• Ability to create engaging and educational lessons
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability

Benefits

• Good-paying compensation ($80 - $120 per hour)

Schedule

• Teaching opportunities lasting from 6 weeks to 18 weeks
• After school instructor positions
