Dance and Zumba Teachers for After School

About the role

We’re looking for dynamic instructors who love what they teach and why they teach it. You will be matched with opportunities to teach classes to K-12 students at schools, buildings, and communities across Boston.

Responsibilities

• Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
• Create memorable experiences for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for Zumba or your subject
• Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!) prepared with the lesson plan for the day
• Help children understand why Zumba or your subject is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person

Requirements

• Earn $90 - $120 for each one hour class
• Opportunities to teach classes lasting 6 weeks to 18 weeks
• Teaching experience is not required, but must have experience teaching school age children
• Ability to bring excitement, joy, and passion to your classes
• Experience creating a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Ability to teach a variety of subjects, such as arts & crafts, skateboarding, breakdancing, or STEM through the lens of Harry Potter

Pay

• $90 - $120 per hour for most classes
• $115 - $130 per hour for Zumba opportunities
