Teaching Faculty - Undergraduate didactic-focused, 9 or 12 Month Salaried (multiple vacancies) - College of Nursing

Responsibilities

The FSU College of Nursing is seeking to hire a collaborative educator to teach in our in-person, on-campus undergraduate didactic-focused program, based in Tallahassee, Florida (FL).

• Provide didactic, lab and/or clinical nursing instruction in community health, pediatrics, or mental health.
• Promote student success through highly engaged teaching.
• Participate in planning, organizing, and developing curriculum.
• Supervise, evaluate, and mentor students.
• Adequately document student progress.
• Participate in and meaningfully contribute to departmental and team meetings.
• Provide academic service and educational excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.

Qualifications

• An academic doctorate (PhD, DNP) or highest-level terminal degree in nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Active FL Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license; or licensed in another state with eligibility to obtain FL licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Candidates must have relevant teaching experience in pediatrics, mental health, or community health.
