Teaching Assistant Position
Responsibilities
- Aid teachers in implementing content area curricula.
- Guide and assist students in the classroom in following the teacher's instruction and school/program rules.
- Provide necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs.
- Create a supportive learning environment.
- Implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
- Document student progress through written notes and narrative reports.
- Drive the school minivan as needed.
Requirements
- MUST have a Bachelor's Degree.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Experience with students with learning disabilities, Autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or other health impairment preferred.
- Knowledge of education and behavior management methods, procedures, and techniques.
- Must be reliable, maintain a professional attitude, and be team-oriented.
Qualifications
- Clear knowledge of English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

7:30 am to 3:15 pm M - F.
