Responsibilities
- Aid teachers in implementing content area curricula.
- Guide and assist students in the classroom in following the teacher's instruction and school/program rules.
- Provide necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs.
- Create a supportive learning environment.
- Implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
- Document student progress through written notes and narrative reports.
Requirements
- MUST have a Bachelors Degree.
- Experience with students with learning disabilities, Autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or other health impairment preferred.
- Knowledge of education and behavior management methods, procedures, and techniques helpful.
- Must be reliable, maintain a professional attitude, and be team oriented.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Knowledge of special education methodologies.

Schedule
8:30 am to 4:15 pm M - F.
