Teaching Assistant, Intensive Learning Support (full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic individual dedicated to supporting students' success. The position involves providing academic support to students under the direction of a teacher, enhancing student well-being, and assisting with hands-on community activities. Additionally, this role includes performing various clerical support functions.

Requirements

• Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of a Competency test
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks

Pay

The offered rate is based on experience and internal equity, with a minimum pay rate of $14.06 per hour.

Schedule

This position is school-year, Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day.
