Essential Job Functions
- Provides lab assistance to faculty, adjuncts and students.
- Prepares lab stations upon request.
- Makes scheduling arrangements for lab and equipment and assists in maintaining equipment used in the lab.
- Aids in the collection and correlation of materials.
- Collaborates with faculty to stay informed about course development, content, tests, quizzes, and other support needs.
- Prepares visual aids and activities.
- Tutors students taking American Sign Language courses and helps students improve communication in ASL.
- Answers general questions, provides information to students, and serves as a liaison to promote good public relations between the students and faculty members.

Minimum Education And Experience Required
- A high school diploma and the ability to communicate fluently in American Sign Language.
- Experience mentoring or tutoring ASL learners.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- A State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
