Teachers and Bus Drivers

About the role

Teachers will plan and deliver standards-based lessons, assess student learning, manage classroom environments, and collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student success. They will participate in professional development, maintain accurate records, and support school-wide initiatives.

Bus drivers will safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities, follow established routes and schedules, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain a clean and orderly vehicle. They will monitor student behavior on the bus, comply with all safety and traffic regulations, and communicate effectively with school staff and transportation supervisors.

Qualifications

• Possess Teaching, Education, and Lesson Planning skills to effectively support student learning and classroom instruction.
• Demonstrate Effective Communication and Training skills to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and interact with families and community members.
• Hold Valid teaching license (for teacher positions), or be eligible for a teacher license.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and eligibility for school bus driver certification (for bus driver positions).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment, demonstrate professionalism, and support a student-centered culture.
• Experience in K–12 education or student transportation is beneficial.
