About the role
Huntington Learning Center of Cherry Hill seeks tutors to assist students in grades K-12 with reading, writing, phonics, math, study skills, and SAT/ACT prep. Tutors work in-person at the center in Marlton, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Teach students in a one-to-one setting
- Work flexible hours based on student schedules and availability
- No lesson plans, grading, or other work outside of the classroom
- Full-time staff handle parent interaction and curriculum
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Taught certification preferred, but other highly qualified candidates considered
- Professional presentation and demeanor
- Desire to positively impact students' lives
Schedule
- Mon - Thurs 3:30 pm - 8pm
- Sat 9am-1pm
- Summer hours: Mon-Sat 9-1 and Mon - Thurs 3:30-8
Pay
- $20-22 per hour
