Teacher/Tutor

About the role

Huntington Learning Center of Cherry Hill seeks tutors to assist students in grades K-12 with reading, writing, phonics, math, study skills, and SAT/ACT prep. Tutors work in-person at the center in Marlton, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in a one-to-one setting
• Work flexible hours based on student schedules and availability
• No lesson plans, grading, or other work outside of the classroom
• Full-time staff handle parent interaction and curriculum

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Taught certification preferred, but other highly qualified candidates considered
• Professional presentation and demeanor
• Desire to positively impact students' lives

Schedule

• Mon - Thurs 3:30 pm - 8pm
• Sat 9am-1pm
• Summer hours: Mon-Sat 9-1 and Mon - Thurs 3:30-8

Pay

• $20-22 per hour
