Job Responsibilities
- Maintain instructional continuity in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Support student learning by following provided lesson plans, managing the classroom effectively, and fostering a positive, faith-centered atmosphere.
- Implement lesson plans and classroom procedures as provided by the regular teacher.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Support student learning and engagement across grade levels as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with school staff regarding classroom needs or concerns.
- Uphold school policies and expectations.
- Model and support Catholic values in interactions with students and staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred (education-related field a plus).
- Substitute teaching certification or eligibility per Archdiocesan/state requirements.
- Classroom Experience Preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism.
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with Catholic school settings.
- PREFERRED: Commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
- PREFERRED: Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and learning levels.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the School Principal or designated administrator.
