About the role

This is a pooled requisition for Special Education, Middle and High School Math, and ELA-S Teachers. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities

  • Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement
  • Maintains and enforces rule of conduct and behavior of assigned students
  • Evaluates, reports, and records student performance, behavior, social development, and physical health
  • Adapts teaching methods and instructional materials to meet varying needs and learning styles
  • Instructs students individually and in groups using various teaching methods (e.g., lectures, technology, discussions)
  • Prepares lesson plans and materials according to District approved curriculum guidelines
  • Administers, assigns, and grades tests and assignments to evaluate student progress
  • Communicates with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve student behavior and academic problems

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required
  • A Master's Degree is only required for Concurrent Enrollment positions
  • Have a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license

  • Experience in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom discipline
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices

Pay

The salary listed reflects the 2025–2026 school year. Salaries for the 2026–2027 school year are typically finalized and released mid-summer, with an effective date of August 1. If any updates or adjustments are made once the new salary schedule is finalized, all impacted individuals will receive the updated salary.
