InspireNOLA is a high-performing charter network in New Orleans, dedicated to transforming education for students through outstanding instruction and support. We operate seven public charter schools and serve over 5,500 students, focusing on academic and personal growth.

Position Summary

InspireNOLA Charter Schools seeks passionate, talented, and dedicated teachers committed to the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of students. Candidates should have a strong desire to continuously develop professionally and a proven track record of success in raising achievement levels among historically under-served students.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Belief in InspireNOLA's mission and values;

• Bachelor’s degree (required);

• Two or more years of teaching experience (preferred);

• Louisiana Teacher Certification or in progress (preferred);

• Proven success in raising achievement levels of under-served students;

• Expertise in a content area and strong classroom management skills;

• Ability to collaborate with the school team, families, and community members;

• Desire to continuously improve instructional practices and engage in professional development;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implement rigorous unit and engaging lesson plans incorporating all components of the InspireNOLA instructional model;

• Create a structured, achievement-oriented learning environment and develop a positive rapport with students;

• Utilize student data to drive instruction, re-teaching, and classroom interventions;

• Exemplify InspireNOLA’s core values in all interactions with students and their families;

• Proactively manage student behavioral issues and adhere to school policies;

• Participate in structured and informal learning and development opportunities, including seeking and accepting feedback;

• Engage in school-based professional development sessions and additional professional development opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. A comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as TRSL (employer retirement contribution).
