About This Role
Join C.A.R.E. For Me Children's Learning Center in Pennsauken, NJ as a Teacher's Assistant - Toddlers working with Infant / Toddler (0–2). The role calls for an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and offers $18 – $19/Hr to qualified childcare professionals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards, ensuring a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain open communication with parents, fostering a strong partnership to support children's growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations, upholding the highest standards of care and safety.
- Conduct regular checks to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom environment, adhering to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Accurately maintain records, forms, and files, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
- Develop a personalized professional development plan to stay updated on best practices, ensuring continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Must have passed full background check.
- Must have passed health screening.
- Must have good professional references.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- Minimum of 2 years consecutively of professional child care experience.
- An understanding of child development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Lead children by example; encourage children to reach developmental milestones by modeling and interaction.
- Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.

- Proficiency in multiple languages, enhancing the ability to connect with diverse families.
- Working knowledge of Teaching Strategies Gold, a valuable asset in implementing curriculum and assessments.
