Teacher's Assistant - Special Education

About the role

Responsible for providing support to special education teachers in the classroom setting. Duties include assisting with lesson planning, managing student behavior, and facilitating small group instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lesson planning and preparation
• Support teachers in managing classroom behavior
• Facilitate small group instruction as needed
• Collaborate with other special education staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching license in special education
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

$40,000 - $45,000 annually
