Requirements
- NJ Certificate: Instructional (K-12) (Mathematics or English, preferred) and Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- OR Teacher of Elementary Schools (K-6) with Middle School Subject Specialization in Mathematics or English and Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- OR Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH)
- Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
Qualifications
- Strong instructional background
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with at-risk students
- Experience working with developmentally disabled students
- Experience working with data collection systems
- Knowledge of curriculum modifications
- Experience working with middle school students (preferred)
- Ability to differentiate instruction and implement evidence-based interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Experience collaborating with general education teachers, related services providers, and administrators
Pay
Salary range: $64,000 - $117,380
