Teacher of Students with Disabilities
Job Responsibilities
- Develop appropriate educational goals and objectives, teaching strategies, and methods of assisting these goals for each student in the class
- Plan and implement individual, small, and large group instructional activities and promote appropriate socialization and self-help skills
- Supervise and direct the activities of the teaching assistants and aides in the classroom
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
- NJ DOE certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of Handicapped
- NJ DOE certification as Elementary School Teacher K-5
Position Details

- Hours Per Work Week: 35
- Weekly Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4 pm
