TEACHER, LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE, SECONDARY, SPECIAL EDUCATION - MODERATE NEEDS, 6TH-8TH GRADE
About the role
A Long-Term Substitute is responsible for teaching appropriate grade level standard-based curriculum to students, following school/district approved curriculum while the classroom teacher is absent for an extended period of time.

What You'll Do
- Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement.
- Makes sure students follow rules and behave appropriately.
- Monitors and records students' progress, behavior, social development, and physical health.
- Plans lessons, prepares tests, and grades assignments.
- Communicates with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators about students' problems and progress.
What You’ll Need
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
- Have a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license.
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
