Teacher - Intervention (EEC / NBE and PWE)

Job Summary

Monticello Schools is looking for a licensed teacher to provide full-time direct, intervention service for elementary students. The position will service Kindergarten students at Eastview as well as 2nd and 3rd grade students at Pinewood. The job description is outlined here.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted literacy and/or math interventions for students who need additional support to reach grade-level expectations.
• Work within a collaborative MTSS framework, using evidence-based practices, data-driven decision making, and strong relationships to accelerate student growth and help every learner thrive.
• Create a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs, and the strategic plan of the district.
• Inspire and engage all students in relevant learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff, and families.

Requirements

• Understanding of the Minnesota Academic Standards for content area.
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs, and the strategic plan of the district.
• Engages all students in relevant learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff, and families.
• Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Hold or are eligible for MN elementary education teacher license.

Skills

• Passionate about the science of reading, responsive instruction, and helping students build both confidence and skills.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $45,921 - $93,884.

• Full time position (1.0 FTE: divided 0.5FTE @ Eastview and 0.5FTE @ Pinewood).
