Teacher - HS - German

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging High School German language instruction utilizing a variety of media and technology.
• Audit individual student learning styles and adapt instructional strategies, materials, and equipment to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and campus staff to develop and implement IEPs through the ARD Committee process.
• Work cooperatively with general education classroom teachers to modify curricula and assist special education students in regular classes.
• Participate regularly in ARD Committee meetings and assist in selecting books, equipment, and instructional media.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate covering High School German instruction AND Special Education (or willingness/eligibility to obtain appropriate dual certifications).
• Strong understanding of the ARD/IEP process and special education compliance guidelines.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
