Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation of a comprehensive child development program that aligns with the Head Start curriculum.
- Apply theories and principles of child and parent education within a setting conducive to fostering personal relationships, experimentation, choice-making, problem-solving, and skill development.
- Develop and participate in parent education and involvement activities.
- Assume the role of a clinical coordinator in planning and executing service and treatment plans.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET equivalent.
- Minimum Certified Development Associate (CDA) certification or commitment to obtaining one within one year of employment.
- A minimum of 60 hours of childcare training.
- Experience with an evidence-based infant/toddler curriculum.
- Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start practices.
