About the role

Arkansas Early Learning (AEL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the most vulnerable children ages birth to five and their families throughout the State of Arkansas through Early Head Start and Head Start programs. We provide free infant, toddler, and pre-K educational childcare/daycare programs in 16 counties across Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Create rich learning opportunities using both indoor and outdoor environments to support each child's individual development.
• Utilize daily routines to build on infants and toddlers' learning and development.
• Build a bond of care and attention to enable infants and toddlers to learn and develop appropriately.

Requirements

• Infant/Toddler CDA or Bachelor's or Associate's in Early Childhood Education.
• Bachelor's or Associate's in any field and willing to obtain an Emphasis on Infant and Toddler Development certificate, provided by AEL.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Full-time schedule with 33 paid days off the first year.
