Teacher/Co-Teacher/Teacher in Training- Sign On Bonus!

About the role

Apple Montessori Schools is seeking passionate Teachers, Co-Teachers, and Teachers in Training for our Warrington, PA location, with openings for Fall 2026. Training begins August 10, and students start in Fall 2026. A $1000 sign-on bonus is available for those who start within 30 days of their offer letter, paid out after 90 days of consecutive employment.

Responsibilities

• Formalize lesson plans on a weekly basis for the upcoming instructional period.
• Relate instructional objectives to curriculum standards and demonstrate effective decision-making concerning instructional goals.
• Determine students’ performance using both informal and formal assessments and observations.
• Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
• Use a variety of instructional materials, including contextual, supplemental, teacher-constructed, and teaching bulletin boards, as well as audio-visual aids, hands-on activities, discovery-based learning, and activity-based learning.
• Maintain accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students.
• Train and supervise a teacher assistant within the classroom.
• Meet with parents throughout the year to discuss the child’s progress.
• Attend Open House, Back to School Night, Teacher In-Service days, and all weekly staff meetings and weekly teacher curriculum meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field (required).
• Montessori Experience (preferred).
• NAMC certification (preferred or willing to obtain within the first year of employment).
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask and function in an ever-changing environment.

Pay

$35,000 - $45,000 / year. Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
