Teacher Assistant- Toddlers & Preschool

About the role

At Over The Rainbow Child Development Center, we are looking for a Teacher Assistant to join our Toddler and Preschool classrooms. This position is not for those who are inconsistent or unreliable, bring negative energy, struggle with professionalism, prefer doing the bare minimum, or become defensive when given feedback or coaching.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Engage children through play, conversation, and hands-on learning
• Aid Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional classroom
• Encourage confidence, independence, and kindness in children
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team

Requirements

• More than 1 year of childcare experience
• Strong communication and classroom engagement skills
• Reliable attendance and professionalism
• Genuine passion for early childhood education
• Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday

Pay

$16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Schedule

Full-Time Monday-Friday, NO WEEKENDS!
