Teacher Assistant-Student Success Coach

Location: Farmington High School • Closes: 08/24/2026 • 5.9 hours per day / 174 days per year • Salary: $17.24 per hour (Grade 3, 2026-27 Support Salary Table)

About the role

Under the supervision of the principal or other supervisor, the teacher assistant supports the teacher in conducting a class through a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare class materials
• Correct and record assignments
• Provide a wide range of additional support services

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience
• One of the following:
  • 48 semester hours of higher education
  • An associate’s degree
  • Ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional Test
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Secretarial/clerical skills, including computer operation (may be required)
