About the role
The position is a classified position announced to all applicants. Applications must be submitted no later than Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assists the teacher with the conduct of a class
- Prepares class materials
- Corrects and records assignments
- Provides small-group literacy instruction to elementary students using the SIPPS program
- Works closely with teachers to help students build foundational reading skills, monitor progress, and support academic growth
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience
- The equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Secretarial/clerical skills, including ability to operate a computer may be required

Benefits
Salary Grade 3 $17.24 per hour (2026-27 Support Salary Table) (Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase for a promotion)
Schedule
Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00 A.M. – 3:15 P.M.
