Teacher Assistant Infant / Toddler / Preschool

About the role

This position serves as a vital member of the teaching team at Apple Montessori Schools, providing support to Lead Teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity
• Model appropriate social behavior and actively engage with students
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• A genuine love of children
• Physically able to perform tasks such as kneeling, bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• An understanding of health and safety guidelines
• Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Schedule

Monday to Friday, Various Shifts Available!
