About the Role

This position involves paraprofessional work assisting the classroom teacher in providing individualized instruction to students whose first language is not English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering instruction tailored to English Learners (EL).
• Perform a variety of tasks to support classroom activities as directed by the teacher.
• Carry out instructional duties under the supervision of the teacher, building administrator, or EL instruction supervisor.
• Maintain positive interactions with students, parents, and staff.
