We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher Aide to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Daily supervision and care of children
- Implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum activities
- Mentoring students completing practicum or work-study experiences
- Maintaining compliance with childcare regulations and center policies
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Childcare experience
- Authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship not available)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience mentoring students, interns, or work-study employees
- 5+ years in the USD Childcare Center
Pay
Starting rate of pay $16.75 per hour; dependent on internal equity and experience.
Schedule
- 12-month, full-time (100%) position
- Work hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- One day per week: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
