Teacher Aide

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher Aide to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and care of children
• Implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum activities
• Mentoring students completing practicum or work-study experiences
• Maintaining compliance with childcare regulations and center policies

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Childcare experience
• Authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship not available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring students, interns, or work-study employees
• 5+ years in the USD Childcare Center

Pay

Starting rate of pay $16.75 per hour; dependent on internal equity and experience.

Schedule

• 12-month, full-time (100%) position
• Work hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• One day per week: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
