Teacher Aide

Teacher Aides provide instructional and clerical support for classroom teachers, allowing teachers more time for lesson planning and teaching. Aides assist and supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, school yard, or in the library.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and clerical support to classroom teachers
• Assist and supervise students in various school settings (classroom, cafeteria, school yard, library)

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Either college credit or a minimum of two years of experience working with children

Schedule

• 178 work days per year
• 6.5 hours per day
• Start date: September 1, 2026

$17.25 per hour
