About the role
Join our dedicated staff at the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID), one of the largest not-for-profit agencies of its kind in the nation. We provide services to infants, children, and adults with developmental and related disabilities, offering specialized facilities, programs, and support throughout New Jersey. This position supports students aged 3-21 years with developmental and related disabilities at our Lakeview School.
Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing each student's specific daily education and therapy programs.
- Carry out goals and objectives appropriate to each student's needs with sensitivity to their disability.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
Schedule
35 hours per work week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
