About the role
We are looking for a Teacher Aide(s) to join our District.
Responsibilities
- Provides necessary assistance to a special education student requiring a one-to-one aide
- Moves with the student throughout the school or possibly on to a bus
- Works with the student in a supportive and empathetic manner
- Assists the teacher with specific information about the student that will aid in the development of instructional objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Familiarity with classroom routine
- Ability to establish good relationships with children and others
