Teacher- Academic (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Attend Full Hospital and Departmental orientation (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM).
• Develop, implement, and evaluate instructional programs for all assigned hospitalized children and adolescents.
• Maintain regular communication with school personnel and attending physicians regarding assignments, test results, special education needs, and behavioral reports within the hospital’s educational setting.
• Administer and report approved testing instruments ordered by attending physicians or provided by the classroom teacher to affected personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Valid teaching license/certificate.
• Preferred: Graduate of a four‑year accredited institution.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
