This position is entitled to a 10% supplement.
This position works under general direction & requires considerable knowledge of teacher education:
- Provides instruction in basic education needs (e.g., reading, writing, mathematics)
- Affords individualized assignments and training
- Administers, scores, and interprets examinations and proficiency indicators
- Maintains discipline and/or security
- Counsels students concerning their performance, behavior, and/or personal problems
Attends meetings as required
Prepares required records and reports (e.g., enrollment, grades, student progress)
Inventories and orders supplies and materials needed
Researches, selects, and recommends new teaching materials
Attends in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development
Performs other duties as assigned
Current Teacher Certificate appropriate for grade level & area of specialization to be assigned; Teacher 1, 71111, must also have baccalaureate degree or less;
