Teach Tennis to Kids with Autism - ACEing Autism Nashville, TN

Looking for volunteers with heart to help us teach tennis to kids with autism in Nashville, TN!

No tennis experience is necessary! Our goal is to help these children build social skills, fine and gross motor skills, and an interest in fitness — with a strong focus on fun.

Responsibilities

• Receive training
• Be paired one-on-one with a participant to help them through the motions of tennis using various drills and games
• Help participants build social skills, fine and gross motor skills, and an interest in fitness
• Form a bond and friendship with participants over the course of each session
• See the meaningful strides our athletes make

Requirements

• Ages 14 and up
• Volunteers include high school and college students, retirees, and community members of all backgrounds

Schedule

• Sundays: February 15, 22; March 1, 22, 29; April 5
• Time: 2:00-3:00 pm
