Teach Tennis to Kids with Autism - ACEing Autism Charlotte, NC

Teaching Experience

Volunteers will teach tennis to kids with autism.

Responsibilities

• Help participants learn socializing skills
• Help participants develop fine and gross motor skills
• Introduce participants to the concept of fitness
• Facilitate fun activities during tennis lessons
• Pair with a participant to guide them through tennis drills and games
• Build a bond and friendship with participants over the course of the session

Requirements

• Must be in or near Charlotte, NC
• Available on Saturdays: April 18, 25, May 2, 9
• Time commitment: A few hours per week
• Volunteers must attend orientation
• Volunteers must be at least 14 years old

Qualifications

• No prior tennis experience necessary
