Teaching Experience
Volunteers will teach tennis to kids with autism.
Responsibilities
- Help participants learn socializing skills
- Help participants develop fine and gross motor skills
- Encourage participants to gain interest in fitness
- Work with a participant to help them through the motions of the game of tennis through various drills and games
- Form a bond and friendship with participants over the course of the session
Requirements
- Must be in or near Austin, TX
- Volunteers are required to attend an orientation
- Volunteers must be at least 14 years old
Qualifications
- No prior tennis experience is necessary
