Teach Pickleball to Kids with Autism - ACEing Autism Coconut Creek, FL

About the role

Volunteers will teach pickleball to kids with autism in Coconut Creek, FL. No prior pickleball experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Receive training from experienced staff
• Pair with a participant to assist them through pickleball drills and games
• Encourage socializing, fine & gross motor skills, and fitness interests
• Help participants form bonds and friendships with volunteers
• Support participants in making progress throughout the session

Requirements

• Must be 14 years old or older
• Attend an orientation
• Complete registration and waivers

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to engage with children with autism
• Ability to work with a team and provide support
• Interest in promoting fitness and social skills
