About the opportunity

We are looking for volunteers with heart to help us teach tennis to kids with autism in Overland Park, KS! No tennis experience is necessary. Our goal is to help these children learn socializing skills, fine & gross motor skills, and gain interest in fitness, which means we have a focus on fun.

What you'll do

• Receive training and be paired with a participant to help them through the motions of the game of tennis through various drills and games
• Form a bond and friendship with your participant over the course of our session

Schedule

• Saturdays: September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10
• Time: 3:00–4:00 pm

Volunteers who return each week find the most value in our volunteer opportunity and will see the strides the athletes make in our program.
