About the role
Parole Officers provide supervision of Parole clients both in person and virtually at various locations, to include office, home, transitional living, and jail settings. Officers also participate in parole revocation hearings and complete extensive data entry duties.

Requirements
You'd be a good fit if:
- 60 accredited college hours
- 2 years experience with case management, case processing, criminal justice, or the military
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of computers and electronic communication
You'd be a great fit if you also have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of or experience with motivational interviewing
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Additional Information
- Retiree salary will be 2.5% less than the posted salary
- No travel required (position may make day trips, but no overnight trips)
- No work site visits or study material required
- Parole Officers Training Academy required
- Hazardous Duty position
This is a career ladder position. Current employees in this career ladder who meet minimum requirements and are classified at a higher level may apply, interview, and accept this position but will remain at their current career ladder level and pay grade. Former employees who previously met minimum requirements and were classified at a higher level may return to their prior career ladder level at the current pay grade if selected.
