About the role
This position reports to the Huntsville Unit Human Resources office. Duties include entry-level HR functions and serving as the first line of customer service for employees and management of the Huntsville unit.

- Provide first-line customer service for employees and management
Requirements
- You’d be a good fit if you have experience in TDCJ policies and procedures
- Computer literate, with the ability to learn new systems
- You’d be a great fit if you have above-average customer service skills
- Experience in Human Resources
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or financial assistance
- Outside applicants must submit to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment
Additional Information
- No travel required; position may make day trips but no overnight trips
- No work site visits
- No study material required
- No pre-service training academy required
- Not a hazardous duty or longevity position
