About the role

Performs complex work as a representative and advocate of inmates in a correctional facility. Work involves providing technical support to inmates in the disciplinary process; and providing guidance to others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

You'd be a GOOD fit if:

  • You have deep knowledge of TDCJ rules, regulations, and the inmate disciplinary process, along with strong competence in maintaining accurate records, preparing technical reports, and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • You are highly meticulous when investigating allegations, reviewing statements, and analyzing evidence, and you demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical standards, strict rule-following, and upholding due process.
  • Your ability to handle sensitive institutional data and inmate information with absolute discretion.
