About the role

The Pediatric Anesthesiologist will provide clinical anesthesia services for general pediatric procedures at Texas Children's Hospital, potentially including West Campus and Woodlands Campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing various procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in research and teaching activities related to pediatric anesthesia.

Requirements

• Medical School Degree
• Residency in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Subspecialty training in pediatric anesthesia (required)
• Preference for subspecialty training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.
