Anesthesiologist - Assistant Professor

About the role

The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through operating rooms and wards at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC)
• Participate in lectures, small groups, workshops, and/or simulation sessions
• Provide clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system
• Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license
