TBCJ - Investigator III/IV K9 Handler - OIG

About the Role

This is a Task Force position. The role will be for a Team K9 for fugitive apprehension and fugitive teamwork.

Qualifications

• K9 handler experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass federal background.
• Outside applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and remain eligible, without sponsorship or any assurance of financial or other assistance from this agency, during the term of employment.

Requirements

• No Pre-Service Training Academy Required.
• TCOLE Certification Required.
• Position is classified as Hazardous Duty/Longevity Position.

Pay

State Retiree Salary will be 2.5% less than the posted salary.

Schedule

Travel 25% - position may spend 1-5 nights away per month.
