TB Quality Control Inspector

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform a visual inspection of the finished product to ensure: Stitches are straight
• Ensure pattern is correct according to production ticket
• Ensure piece is Upholstered correctly to specifications
• Ensure there are no holes or flaws in the Fabric / Leather
• Ensure legs and finishes of legs are correct
• Make repairs as needed
• Push piece back to upholster to correct issues
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Qualifications

• Manufacturing Experience
• Preferred Experience Requirements: Experience in furniture manufacturing
• Minimum Education Requirements: Less than High School
• Preferred Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills

• Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills, including ability to describe and convey nonconformance issues
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes
• Ability to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Must be able to read a ruler
• Must be able to read an order ticket
• Must be able to tell the difference in finishes of the legs
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day
• Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime
• Must be reliable
• Must have strong English language skills, including: Reading, Comprehending, Speaking, Writing, Communication
• Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes
• Must adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others
