About the role
The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) collects revenue that supports essential public services, with its programs accounting for about twenty‑three percent of all state revenue. CDTFA’s tax programs focus on sales and use tax, and special taxes and fees. This position is located in the Redding Office, Shasta County, and is a permanent, full‑time role reporting to the Business Taxes Administrator (BTA) I.
Responsibilities
- Applying laws, rules and policies relating to CDTFA’s programs
