Tax Supervisor
This Jobot Job is hosted by Emily Bohanon.
About the firm
Our client is a well-established regional CPA and advisory firm with nearly 100 professionals and multiple offices throughout Central New York. For decades, they have built their reputation by serving privately held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals with a personalized, relationship-driven approach. Unlike firms that focus solely on annual compliance, this team works closely with clients year-round, providing proactive tax planning, strategic business advice, and practical solutions as legislation and business needs evolve. Their professionals become trusted advisors rather than simply tax preparers.
The firm serves a diverse client base across industries including real estate and construction, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, retail, government, school districts, and not-for-profit organizations, creating excellent exposure to complex tax matters and a wide variety of engagements. With a median employee tenure of nearly six years, the firm has created a culture centered on collaboration, mentorship, flexibility, and long-term career development. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their careers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance through hybrid work options, generous PTO, summer Fridays, firm shutdowns, and strong investment in continuing education.
